Kettle Run benefitted from Alexander in 10-4 victory
On Friday Aaliyah Alexander made a splash, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. It looks like she has Meridian's number considering she had a big game the last time she faced them, too. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her third in a row with less than two walks allowed. For the season, Alexander has an ERA of 5.90 over 40.3 innings pitched.
Alexander and Kettle Run will head out on the road to square off against Fauquier at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kettle Run has some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since April of 2018, but a win here would be a good start.
