Softball Recap: Fulton Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

After losing to Pearl City the last time they met, Fulton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Steamers walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Wolves on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Steamers.

Fulton's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-8. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Pearl City, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-9.

Coming up, Fulton will challenge Polo at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Pearl City, they will take on Dakota at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Wolves' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
