Baseball Game Preview: Overbrook Rams vs. Timber Creek Regional Chargers

The Overbrook Rams will head out to square off against the Timber Creek Regional Chargers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Overbrook's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Timber Creek Regional's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Overbrook's hitters will try to repeat the strong performance they gave on Friday, when they got past Cinnaminson's usually-dominant pitching crew. The Rams came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 12-8. Considering the Rams' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Timber Creek Regional came up short against Kingsway on Wednesday and fell 6-1. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The win got Overbrook back to even at 8-8. As for Timber Creek Regional, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

Everything went Overbrook's way against Timber Creek Regional in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Overbrook made off with a 9-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
