Softball Recap: West Hills' Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Five

West Hills lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Sage Creek, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's contest. The West Hills Wolf Pack put the hurt on the Sage Creek Bobcats with a sharp 8-0 victory on Saturday. With that win, the Wolf Pack brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Ava Goodman, who scored a run while going 3-for-3. Amber Foley also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

West Hills was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

West Hills has already played their next game, a 4-2 loss against Point Loma on the 8th. As for Sage Creek, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Eastlake at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
