Soccer Game Preview: Ada vs. Bluffton

Ada is 1-6 against Bluffton since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Bulldogs will take on the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. Ada is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

Ada was handed a four-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They beat Kalida by a goal, winning 2-1. Ada's winning goal came courtesy of Kenley Poling.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bluffton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over Allen East on Tuesday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Bluffton's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Bluffton now has a winning record of 9-8-1. As for Ada, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-2 record this season.

Ada couldn't quite get it done against Bluffton when the teams last played back in September of 2023 as they fell 2-0. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
