Baseball Recap: Revere Comes Up Short

Brush hit Revere with a five-run second inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Minutemen fell just short of the Arcs by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Minutemen have suffered since May 10, 2024.

Revere got a good showing from Chase Clifford, who struck out seven batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Clifford has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Kyle Yost was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, two runs, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron French, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Revere's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Brush, their record is now 6-10.

As of now, neither Revere nor the Arcs have any future games scheduled.
