Basketball Game Preview: Adams Central Patriots vs. Northwest Vikings

The Adams Central Patriots will face off against the Northwest Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Northwest will be up against a hot Adams Central squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Adams Central skirted past Holdrege 32-29.

Meanwhile, Northwest sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 30-27 win over St. Cecilia on Tuesday.

Adams Central is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Northwest, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.

Everything went Adams Central's way against Northwest in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as Adams Central made off with a 57-36 win. Will Adams Central repeat their success, or does Northwest have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
