Basketball Recap: Fort Defiance Comes Up Short

Fort Defiance was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Buffalo Gap Bison and fell 61-26. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 331st, while the Bison are ranked 126th).

Fort Defiance's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Buffalo Gap, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Stuarts Draft the next time they take the court. Buffalo Gap will head out to face Stuarts Draft at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Fort Defiance will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
