Soccer Recap: Bloomfield Comes Up Short

Bloomfield lost against White River Valley back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cardinals lost 9-0 to the Wolverines. While losing is never fun, Bloomfield can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 280th, while White River Valley are ranked 55th).

Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for White River Valley, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.

Looking ahead, Bloomfield is taking a road trip to take on South Knox at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for White River Valley, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Owen Valley at 6:00 p.m.
