Basketball Recap: Research Triangle Has No Trouble Against East Wake Academy

Research Triangle won the last time they faced East Wake Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Research Triangle Raptors walked away with a 54-42 win over the East Wake Academy Eagles. That 12 point margin sets a new team best for the Raptors this season.

Research Triangle's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chaitan Kodi, who posted 12 points and three steals. That's the most steals Kodi has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Akash Immani, who scored 15 points and six boards.

Research Triangle's win bumped their record up to 7-17. As for East Wake Academy, they dropped their record down to 4-16 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coming up, Research Triangle won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Franklin Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Wake Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
