Soccer Game Preview: Palisades vs. University

The Palisades Dolphins will head out to take on the University Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Saturday, Palisades didn't have quite enough to beat Venice and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when University duked it out with Fairfax on Friday. University fell just short of Fairfax by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 668th, while the Lions are ranked 302nd).

University now has a losing record at 3-4-6. As for Palisades, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-3-2.
