Soccer Recap: Serrano Comes Up Short

Serrano managed to keep up with Oak Hills until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Serrano Diamondbacks lost 4-1 to the Oak Hills Bulldogs. The Diamondbacks haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Serrano's loss dropped their record down to 3-17-1. As for Oak Hills, their victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Serrano will head out to take on Burroughs at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Serrano is facing Burroughs at the right time seeing as Burroughs is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Oak Hills, they are taking a road trip to square off against Hesperia at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Oak Hills' defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Hesperia's offense will have their work cut out for them.
