Softball Recap: Greenwood Takes a Loss

Greenwood lost to Upper Dauphin Area on April 1st and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats fell 6-2 to the Trojans. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lilly Kessler was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Greenwood's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Upper Dauphin Area, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greenwood will welcome Camp Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Upper Dauphin Area, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Juniata at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
