Softball Recap: Midlothian Trojans vs. Cosby Titans
On Thursday Midlothian's undefeated season almost came to an end. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Cosby Titans a 1-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-0 back in April.
Not much got past Marlee Gaskell, who gave up just five hits to keep Cosby off the board.
At the plate, Midlothian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Erika Fiege, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Fiege is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
