Basketball Recap: Ramere Brown and Indavier Barnes Secure Win for Green Tech

Green Tech proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 89) and on Sunday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 48-45 victory over the Bishop Grimes Cobras.

Green Tech was led to victory by Indavier Barnes and Ramere Brown. Barnes posted 14 points in addition to five assists and five boards, while Brown dropped a double-double on 15 points and 18 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Brown a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Ayden Taylor, who put up eight points.

Green Tech now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Bishop Grimes, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2.

Green Tech wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 58-51 win against Central on the 27th. As for Bishop Grimes, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-41 victory against Baldwinsville on the 27th.
