It was a proper cat-fight when Stone Memorial took on Livingston Academy on Thursday. The Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Wildcats. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 4-0 victory on Monday.

The team relied heavily on Breanna Looper, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Cadence Cox, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Stone Memorial's win bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Livingston Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-8.

Coming up, Stone Memorial will head out to face off against DeKalb County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. Livingston Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
