After having lost a blowout in their previous game against McKinney North, Sherman was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Greenville Lions as the Sherman Bearcats made off with a 4-0 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Bearcats' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit Greenville with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Adleigh Pesina, Maddie Mackay, Molly Dollar, and Mayla Matamoros.

Sherman's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-9. As for Greenville, they dropped their record down to 0-15 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Sherman and Greenville could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Sherman will challenge Walnut Grove at 7:15 p.m. on Friday down 307 places (340 vs. 33). Similarly, Greenville (ranked 639th) will meet Anna (ranked 208th) at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
