It was a proper cat-fight when Baker faced off against Rauner on Tuesday. The Bobcats escaped with a win against the Wildcats by the margin of a single free throw, 35-34. The victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

Rauner's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nykirie Posey, who posted nine points.

The win got Baker back to even at 1-1. As for Rauner, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
