Worthington Kilbourne and Westerville North are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2021, but not for long. The Worthington Kilbourne Wolves will head out on the road to challenge the Westerville North Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Worthington Kilbourne is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.

A well-balanced attack led Worthington Kilbourne over Franklin Heights in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Worthington Kilbourne blew Franklin Heights out of the water with a 44-9 final score. Given Worthington Kilbourne's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 331st, while Franklin Heights is ranked 698th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Reagan Wilkinson and Riley Wilkinson were among the main playmakers for Worthington Kilbourne as the former scored seven points and the latter scored ten points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Wilkinson hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Cora Bystrek was another key contributor, scoring seven points.

Meanwhile, Westerville North's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight defeat. They took a serious blow against Big Walnut, falling 69-19.

Worthington Kilbourne's victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Westerville North, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 14 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-18 record this season.

Everything went Worthington Kilbourne's way against Westerville North in their previous meeting back in January as Worthington Kilbourne made off with a 55-32 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Worthington Kilbourne since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
