            Baseball Recap: Edgewood Warriors vs. Struthers Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            Edgewood had lost five straight on the road, but  on Monday they dropped their record down to 7-13 to make it six. They lost  9-0 to the Struthers Wildcats. The shutout was out of character for the Warriors seeing as the last time the team failed to score was  back in April.
As for Struthers, their win bumped their record up to 8-18-1. They not only won  on Monday, but they posted their biggest win  since April 18th (when they won  14-3).
 For Struthers' part, they let  Eddie Bradley and  JR Hovanec run wild. Bradley  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base, while  Hovanec  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  stolen bases and two  runs. That's the most  hits  Bradley has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Jordan Becker, who  went 1-for-3 with two  runs.
 Looking ahead, Edgewood will take on Jefferson Area in a tournament  on Thursday. As for Struthers, they will face off against West Geauga at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Wolverines will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
