Baseball Preview: Crawfordsville Athenians vs. Western Boone Stars

The Crawfordsville Athenians will venture away from home to face off against the Western Boone Stars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crawfordsville will be strutting in after a win while Western Boone will be coming in after a loss.

Crawfordsville is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Benton Central 10-0 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Braeden Schlote was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched.
