Volleyball Recap: Hermantown Comes Up Short

Hermantown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Proctor Rails. The Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rails apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Hermantown now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Proctor, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Hermantown will be playing in front of their home fans against Greenway at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Proctor, they will head out to square off against Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
