Soccer Game Preview: Conestoga vs. Scotus

The Conestoga Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Scotus Shamrocks at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Conestoga is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Conestoga took a four-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Fremont, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cougars won by a goal and slipped past the Tigers 2-1.

Brandt Morrical and Noah Eagen scored both of Conestoga's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Meanwhile, while the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Lincoln Lutheran/Raymond Central/Parkview Christian who was credited with the victory on Tuesday. Lincoln Lutheran/Raymond Central/Parkview Christian got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to Scotus' four. Scotus have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Scotus now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Conestoga, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
