Soccer Recap: Mortimer Jordan's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brewer, Mortimer Jordan was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the Minor Tigers 2-1. The Blue Devils' winning goal came courtesy of Pierson Hathcox.

Mortimer Jordan used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Minor. Zeke Smith played for 80 minutes having averaged 45.6 this season. Saxon Sidoti made the most of the opportunity, scoring a goal A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

Mortimer Jordan's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-9. As for Minor, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mortimer Jordan will square off against Hartselle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Minor, they will take on Homewood at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
