Volleyball Recap: Nine Straight Road Victories for Bear River

Bear River barely beat Oakmont the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bruins were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Vikings on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bruins.

Bear River never let Oakmont on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-11, 25-20.

Kyle Smith paced Bear River's offense, picking up 13 kills. Smith got some help from Ethan Tucker and his 26 assists. Tucker also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Justyce Johnson, racking up three apiece.
