Basketball Recap: James River Takes a Loss

James River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 64-28 loss at the hands of the Radford Bobcats. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-23 back in January.

James River's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Radford, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-12.

James River will take on Patrick County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Radford, they will face off against Floyd County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Floyd County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches.
