            Volleyball Recap: Refugio Bobcats vs. Taft Greyhounds        
        
		
        
        
            There's no place like home for Refugio, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Taft Greyhounds  3-2. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Bobcats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
 It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Refugio got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 21-25, 25-21, 17-25,  15-12.

 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Refugio to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Aiyanna Brown, who  had 39  digs and two  aces. That's the most  aces  Brown has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ja'Zae-Lynne Lewis, who  had 21  digs, 14  kills,  and six  blocks.
Refugio's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Taft, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
 Refugio has already played their next game,  a  2-0  victory against Carrizo Springs on the 21st. As for Taft, they will challenge Aransas Pass at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
