Softball Recap: McPherson Bullpups vs. Circle Thunderbirds
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only McPherson walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Circle Thunderbirds on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Bullpups, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Addison Chapman made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Chapman was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Pera Bauer was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Carmin Pavlovich, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
