Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Corbin). They put the hurt on the Perry County Central Commodores with a sharp 8-0 victory on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what Corbin needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Corbin now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Perry County Central, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-9-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Corbin will challenge Oneida Baptist Institute at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Oneida Baptist Institute will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Corbin surely won't give up without a fight. As for Perry County Central, they will be playing at home against Morgan County at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Perry County Central will be up against Morgan County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.29 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
