Baseball Game Preview: Perry Central Commodores vs. Crawford County Wolfpack

Perry Central has gone 9-1 against Crawford County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Commodores will challenge the Wolfpack at 5:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Perry Central and 16 for Crawford County.

Heritage Hills hit Perry Central with a six-run first inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Commodores came up short against the Patriots, falling 11-1.

Meanwhile, Crawford County lost 13-2 to Christian Academy on Thursday.

Crawford County's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Perry Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-1.

Perry Central got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April against Crawford County by a conclusive 12-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Commodores since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
