Basketball Recap: Gilbert Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Gilbert can now relate to. They fell 60-48 to the East Granby Crusaders on Wednesday. The Yellowjackets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crusaders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.

Gilbert now has a losing record of 2-3. As for East Granby, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Gilbert does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Granby, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Canton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
