Basketball Recap: Tidewater Academy Snaps Ten-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Tidewater Academy lost to Gateway Christian back in November of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Tidewater Academy Warriors came out on top against Gateway Christian by a score of 52-40.

Tidewater Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aydan Phillips, who posted 12 points. Henry Berryman was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Several Gateway Christian players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chris Green, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keegan Snyder, who put up 11 points.

Tidewater Academy's win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Tidewater Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 50-33 victory against The New Community School on the 6th. Gateway Christian has also already played their next match, a 44-36 defeat against Cramerton Christian Academy on the 6th.
