Baseball Game Preview: Rockledge Raiders vs. American Heritage Patriots

For the second straight game, Rockledge will face off against American Heritage. The Raiders will venture away from home to take on the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Rockledge heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Monday. They lost 17-6 to American Heritage. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For American Heritage's part, they got a great performance from Mark Aleman as he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off five hits. Aleman has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Dylan Dubovik was a standout: he went 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Jordan Rich was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double.

The victory was the seventh in a row for American Heritage, bringing their record up to 22-6. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Rockledge, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-13.
