Kendrick Torres posted a new career-high in total tackles on Saturday. He made 16 total tackles and snagged an interception. He is on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made eight or more in each of the last eight games he's played dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Torres and Big Springs Charter will head out on the road to take on Waco Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Torres had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their match back in September of 2024 60-13.
