Volleyball Recap: Amphitheater Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Amphitheater was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Sabino on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers came up short against the Walden Grove Red Wolves on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Red Wolves from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21, 25-11.

Kayla Tuakalau paced Amphitheater's offense, picking up ten kills. Tuakalau got some help from Isabella Espinoza and her 14 assists.

Amphitheater now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Walden Grove, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Amphitheater didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Catalina on the 10th. As for Walden Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Tombstone on the 11th.
