Lakeview won the last time they faced Hubbard and things went their way  on Wednesday too. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Eagles  8-6. The  win was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won four  games in a row.
 The team  relied heavily on  Hallie Capan, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. That  home run marked the first that  she  launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kennedy Bartlett, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Lakeview's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Hubbard, their loss  ended  a  nine-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 6-3.
 Lakeview didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  a  16-5  win against St. Joseph Academy on the 12th. As for Hubbard, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  contest,  a  12-6  defeat against South Range on the 14th.
