Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask La Crescent). They strolled past the Waukon Indians with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 82-64. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lancers also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.

La Crescent's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points over those games. As for Waukon, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. La Crescent won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Caledonia at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Caledonia's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Waukon, they and Crestwood will face off at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
