Grand Saline took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Rains, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Indians won by a set and slipped past the Wildcats 2-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Indians as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Grand Saline's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Rains, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Grand Saline wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Sabine on the 23rd. As for Rains, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Blue Ridge on the 26th.
