Basketball Recap: Newport Takes a Loss

Newport lost against Molalla back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Newport Cubs lost 60-40 to the Molalla Indians.

Newport's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Molalla, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-5.

Newport will square off against Gladstone at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Molalla has already played their next matchup (against Crook County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
