Baseball Game Preview: Stuart Hall Knights vs. Balboa Buccaneers

The Stuart Hall Knights will face off against the Balboa Buccaneers at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Neither Stuart Hall nor Balboa posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

After dropping their season opener at home, Balboa is headed out to face a Knights team ready to give their home crowd a win. Stuart Hall took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Saint Mary's on Wednesday.

Mills hit Balboa with a five-run sixth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Buccaneers came up short against the Vikings, falling 11-1. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Balboa saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nick Gwinn, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.
