Baseball Recap: Hudson Comes Up Short

Hudson was the 3-0 winner over Blissfield when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Royals on Wednesday.

Hudson dropped their record down to 9-13 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Blissfield, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hudson will square off against East Jackson at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.17 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Blissfield, they will face off against St. Mary Catholic Central at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
