Volleyball Recap: Elkhart Takes a Loss

Elkhart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Penn Kingsmen. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Kingsmen this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-2 defeat on Thursday.

While Elkhart ultimately came up short, they really made Penn work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-18.

Elkhart's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Penn, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

Elkhart didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against DeKalb on the 3rd. As for Penn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against South Bend Riley on the 3rd.
