After a string of three wins, the East Hall Vikings's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 6-0 walloping at the hands of Cedar Shoals. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, East Hall couldn't push the score so high this time.

East Hall's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2. As for Cedar Shoals, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1-1.

East Hall will take on Winder-Barrow at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully East Hall is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank in Georgia (they are ranked 66th, while Winder-Barrow is ranked 252nd). As for Cedar Shoals, they will head out on the road to challenge Cherokee Bluff at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cherokee Bluff is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
