Basketball Recap: Warren County Victorious

Warren County won the last time they faced Glascock County, and Jailee Allen did her part to make sure it happened again. The Warren County Screaming Devils put the hurt on the Glascock County Panthers with a sharp 64-38 victory on Monday thanks in part to Allen, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last six games she's played dating back to last season.

Another player making a difference was Courtney Bray, who posted 13 points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in assists.

Warren County's record is now 3-1. As for Glascock County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Warren County won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Augusta Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Warren County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Glascock County, they will venture away from home to take on Briarwood Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Briarwood Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51 points per game this season.
