Soccer Game Preview: Hinsdale Central vs. York

The Hinsdale Central Red Devils will challenge the York Dukes at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hinsdale Central will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.

Hinsdale Central is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They skirted past Lyons 2-1. Hinsdale Central's winning goal came courtesy of Emily DiTomasso.

Meanwhile, York kept a clean sheet against Oak Park-River Forest on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Huskies. York's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.

York has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-5-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those seven games. As for Hinsdale Central, their win bumped their record up to 19-5.

Hinsdale Central came out on top in a nail-biter against York when the teams last played on May 6th, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Red Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dukes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
