Volleyball Recap: Brownsburg Comes Up Short

After flying high against Avon last Thursday, Brownsburg came back down to earth. The Bulldogs came up short against the Carmel Greyhounds on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Greyhounds apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 25-14.

Brownsburg dropped their record down to 7-10 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Carmel, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-7-1.

Looking ahead, Brownsburg will welcome Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Braves will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Carmel, they will be taking part in a tournament against Lincoln-Way East at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
