Hampshire Regional faced Westfield in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Raiders blew past the Bombers 12-2. The Raiders' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Ryanne Dubay1 spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on two hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Kalin Dubay4 was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. What's more, she posted three RBI, the most she's had over her last 11 matches. Another player making a difference was Teagan Charles, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Hampshire Regional kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in eight consecutive contests.

Hampshire Regional's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-0. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team's won by an average of 10.2 runs thus far. As for Westfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Hampshire Regional will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bombers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
