Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Villa Victoria Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-33 back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Villa Victoria Academy lost, don't look at Sophia Vitanov. Despite the final result, she posted ten points. That was a full 38.5% of Villa Victoria Academy's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Lenora Ramacciotti, who scored four points and five rebounds.

Villa Victoria Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for International Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
