Volleyball Recap: Harvard Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Harvard faced off against Axtell on Tuesday. The Cardinals fell 2-0 to the Wildcats. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-12.

Tabi Forney paced Harvard's offense, picking up four kills. Forney got some help from Haley Gimpel and her six assists.

Harvard's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Axtell, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season.

Harvard has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Giltner on the 23rd. Axtell has also already played their next game (against Wilcox-Hildreth), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
