Baseball Game Preview: Otto-Eldred Terrors vs. Northern Potter Panthers

Otto-Eldred has gone a perfect 8-0 against Northern Potter recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Terrors will look to defend their home field against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Otto-Eldred has given up an average of 7.5 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Thursday, Otto-Eldred came up short against Allegany-Limestone and fell 13-8. Even though they lost, the Terrors' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.3 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Macaibe Splain was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI. Michael Sheeler was another key player, earning two runs and two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, Northern Potter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 17-1 to Mansfield.

Northern Potter's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Otto-Eldred, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Otto-Eldred took their victory against Northern Potter in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 12-6 score. Do the Terrors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
